Yesterday my plan was to do speedwork but after my warm up my belly had different plans. I have to remember to not drink apple cider vinegar before my speedwork or long runs! I ended up doing 7 miles in 51 minutes and the followed up with my PT exercises. I have to say that I am proud of myself for sticking with my PT stuff because before after I started to feel better I would slack off but not anymore! I definitely never want to be out on the injury list for 8-9 weeks again and I promised myself to train smarter this marathon season.
After my run I went with Angel on a road trip...We went to Trail Creek, Philadelphia Runner, and Wholefoods! My goodness we needed more time! I would one day love to win a shopping spree to any of these three stores!!! Trail Creek is a fantastic store and has the best trail running shoe selection and the friendliest sales people. This was Angel's first time to this Wholefoods and I love how excited she was...I felt the same way when I walked in there too. We of course went straight to the bar and beer cooler. I had to get more of my beloved pumpkin ale but they were out it so instead I did a "Mix and Match" 6 pack...So fun! We then hit up the salad and hot foods bar...YUM. I had the best buffalo spice tofu as well as many other delicious treats...
And Angel got this to drink:
So after reading the label and all the many "good for you" things in this drink I many have to start adding this into my diet! Her 4 year old son loved it too. After we ate we looked around a bit more but ran out of time and had to head back to get the kids from school. I so wish we had a place like this closer to us ( hint, hint)!!
Since last night was a football practice night, Cam and I went to the track while Chase and my Hubby had practice. Well let me tell you...I found my new pacer:
Cam rode his scooter while I tried to keep up...He kept yelling "run faster Mommy". I ended up doing 2 miles in 13:46...Thanks buddy maybe next 26.2 you can pace me?!
Do you love Wholefoods?
Happy Running!
