About Me
Who is DE Running Mom:
Hi There!! My name is Stacey and I am a mom, wife, labor & delivery nurse, lacrosse coach and avid runner!! I have always played sports and enjoyed running but started distance running/racing in 2007 after the birth of my second son. What a better way to get back into pre-pregnancy shape then to run a marathon, right? I did some research and came up with a training plan and fell in love with the whole thing!! I have met so many amazing people in the running community and I am hoping through this blog to meet many more.
My Cheer Squad:
I am very fortunate to have an amazing support system. My husband is my biggest fan, cheerleader, photographer, and most importantly my shoulder to lean on! My two boys (ages 4 and 7) they motivate me to be the best that I can be. I love that my boys are so proud of me and always think I am a winner!! My parents, I truly owe them the world! They have instilled my hardwork ethic and dedication to always be the best I can be. And last but definitely not least my runner girls, Dawn, Angel and Donna.
