Wow, today was almost 60* here in Delaware and such a tease considering when I am out running in the early am tomorrow it will be 30*... Anyway Happy Day after Valentine's Day!! I was scheduled off yesterday from work but my goodness all the babies wanted to be born so I got called in to help from 3pm to 7 pm...But before I went in I had to do my speedwork! I have to admit I actually enjoyed this set:
2.6 mile warm up in 20 minutes ( nice easy pace )
2 x 1600 meter 1st 6:44, 2nd 6:40
2 x 1200 meter both @ 4:48
2 x 1000 meter both @ 3:49
1 x 800 meter @ 3:00
Recovery interval of 400 meter between each repeat then 1 mile cool down @ 7:47
I was a sweaty mess and felt like I had worked hard but not completely dead at the end. Happy V-Day to me.... Give me a TM/Run and my Mizuno Wave Rider 16's and I am in LOVE!

Today I kept the streak alive and did BodyPump again! I actually was looking forward to this class and was excited to get my pump on...I warmed up with 30 minutes on the stairmonster and WOW that thing kicks my rear! I increased my weights today since on Monday I underestimated myself and went to lite. I felt the burn today and am excited to see how my body changes and gets stronger each week!

The boys and I hung out with my mom, dad and brother and had an amazing meal at Brio tonight and I was craving protein big time...BUT since we are celebrating Lent and no meat on Friday's I had this beautiful dish instead:
Salmon with spinach, sweet potatoes, asparagus, roasted red peppers and balsamic glaze!! YUMMMMMMY!
Well I have an 18 miler on the plan for the morning so time to go to bed!
