Today I started off my day with a FANTASTIC 18.60 mile run in 2:26...I met Angel and we ran our route in reverse order and my goodness it was good!! We had to really hold back on our paces and force ourselves to slow down. I LOVE when you see progress and increasing strength and speed in a training plan! I kept my first 10-11 miles right at training pace or close to it and kicked it into high gear the last 7-8 miles. I felt very strong today and even felt like I had a lot left in the tank when I was done! I am really learning a lot from this training cycle and cannot wait to truly race!
